Vera Sakka is one of the iconic figures of the island and almost a native now, as she spends at least half of the year in Patmos for the last 32 years. She works as a professional tour guide and knows the island, its history and everything related to it very well. Apart from her native langiage, Greek, she can speak 5 more languages, German, English, Italian, French and Spanish.

Beyond the basic tourist tours to the monuments of the island, mainly to the Apocalypse, the Monastery and Chora, she chooses to create “groups” of visitors who are interested respectively and beyond the established ones, to approach the unique nature of Patmos, energetically, naturally, even transcendently, for a more alternative and spiritual approach to the island.

Vera is mainly interested in introducing you to the unseen Patmos, seen through her own eyes and her love for the island. Walking it, swimming it and talking about it, letting its magic and beauty unfold before your eyes through her own body. From its stone cobbled streets, its nobility, its treasures and its unique harmony. With its unique sunsets in different spots of the island, but also through the special quality that it has in every part of the island, in its natural beauty, in its architecture, in the people who love it, but also in its gastronomic delights.

She can also accompany you with pleasure and introduce you to the wider “neighborhood” of Patmos, such as Samos, Ikaria, Leros and Lipsi.
