Mitch Woods in Patmos – A night of authentic rhythm & blues at Art Café

On Friday 25 July, he will perform for one night only at Art Café, in Skala, from 21:30 to 23:00, in an, acoustic live show for friends and insiders alike.

After completing this year’s summer tour, which started in early June in Brazil and culminated with his participation in the famous Umbria festival in Italy, Mitch Woods is back in Patmos – an island he loves and faithfully visits every summer.

Mitch Woods is one of the most important figures of the American boogie-woogie and jump blues scene. His career began in the early 1980s, when he formed the band Mitch Woods & His Rocket 88s, heavily influenced by New Orleans rhythm & blues legends such as Fats Domino, Louis Jordan and Professor Longhair.

With his piano taking center stage and an energy reminiscent of other eras, Woods has performed on stages and festivals around the world, from New Orleans to Europe and South America. His music is a timeless celebration, full of swing, humor and stories of life on the road.

His appearance in Patmos is a small summer gift for live music lovers. It’s not an official concert, it’s not a big production – it’s just Mitch, his piano and his love for the people and the island.

Friday 25 July, Art Café, Skala. From 21:30 to 23:00. Don’t miss it!
