The traditional tavern “Agnanti of Geraniotis” is located on the beach of Kampos right on the beach. You step out of the sea and you can drink your ouzo or cold beer directly under the thick shade created by the huge tamarisk trees above the tables of the taverna.

The unadulterated tavern has a 20 years history, since Dimitris, the Geraniotis as most people know him, started in the same place where it is located today to offer to the visitors of the beach the goat and the cheeses that he and his family used to make in their farm.

So until today only few has changed in the time capsule called Agnanti. The goat and the cheeses still come from Dimitri’s corral, the vegetables and salads are from the local fileds and the fish is fresh and strictly selected by him.

Agnanti serves daily from 15:00 until the evening, when the bustling beach becomes quiet and the illuminated lamps under the tamarisks complete the picture of a bygone era. Be sure to exchange a few words with Dimitris himself, the “high note” that will complete your experience at Agnanti of Geraniotis!
