One nightclub is setting the town’s nightlife alight. A myth?

Far from it! We’re talking about the Stoa tou Theologou, the bar situated in Hora’s main square, the Square of Saint Lesvia. And if you’ve got lost in the village’s labyrinthine alleyways, don’t worry. The music spilling out of the Stoa will lead you straight back to the heart of the action.

Because, let’s face it, this is where it all happens! These few square metres of the square manage to encapsulate the very essence of Patmos’s nightlife — always, of course, in that unique way in which almost everything happens on the island.

Here you will see and be seen, meet and be met, get to know people and be got to know. And all this, almost always, right outside the Stoa!

Drinks come and go on the trays, the speciality cocktails flow freely and the atmosphere liven up without any particular effort. The square fills with people, sounds and glances, until the time comes for the next chapter of the evening.

At 2.00, the doors close and the action moves indoors. The Stoa takes on a whole new look, the lights dim, the music gets louder and the bar is transformed into a proper club.

And that’s when things get tricky… Because there’s no set closing time for a night out at the Stoa. The party goes on until you drop — or, better still, until the first light of day appears.
