How would you like to sit on the deck of the Eleftherios K. trawler, having a meal, a drink or a coffee, enjoying a truly unique experience? Tarsanas Marine Club is probably the most special place on the island.
It is located in the southern part of Patmos, in the area of Diakofti, in the traditional Carnagio of the island, under the name Patmos Marine. So there and in the midst of the area where traditional wooden boats are kept, repaired and built, you can sit on the deck of the old treacherous boat or in the surrounding areas and participate in what makes the experience so special.
By the afternoon, when the boatyard is open for business, you will have the opportunity to be in the middle of the work and at the same time enjoy the blue sea that is just a stone’s throw away – and why not swim in the adjacent beach with its crystal clear waters. After the afternoon hours, the landscape calms down and takes on another dimension with the sea breeze whistling between the albums and ropes.
Another peculiarity of Tarsanas Marine Club is the mosaic of patrons you will meet there. A colourful canvas of disparate people, who in a magical way manage to coexist harmoniously, contributing to the uniqueness of the place’s physiognomy. And of course the unique flavours of the cuisine: every dish is worthy of mention, but we would recommend not to miss the lemon goat from Levitha, the nests with spinach, the salads and the fresh fish.
