The Breeder Gallery presents the solo exhibition “I Walk Over the Mountains and the Waves” by British artist and designer Luke Edward Hall at the Old School of Hora Patmos.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Hall’s work is deeply influenced by Greek nature and in this particular work, he is inspired by the island life and the mysterious energy that fascinates the visitors of Patmos. The artist collects memories, moments and smells of Patmos and tells its stories through portraits and landscapes. The local context enriches his works, with the magic of everyday scenes – from the fields and mountains to the sea and its creatures – coming alive with eroticism and lyricism. <\/p>\n\n

Luke Edward Hall is involved in a wide range of activities that balance between art and design. He has worked with numerous brands and institutions including Burberry, Lanvin, Christie’s, the Royal Academy of Art, VA, Ginori 1735, Svenskt Tenn and Habitat. He has held solo exhibitions at The Breeder in Athens (2021, 2022, 2023) and in London (Frieze No.9 Cork Street, 2023), as well as at Daniel Cooney Fine Art in New York (2023). <\/p>\n\n
