Patmos, a landmark for art and culture.
With the generous contribution of Patmian and foreign artists who live and work on the island, the S.P.P.P. “Ippokampos” is organizing an exhibition at the Patmion Cultural Center, under the auspices of the Municipality of Patmos.
This initiative is not just another artistic gathering, but a practical support for the association’s efforts to maintain, promotion, and publicity of the “Paths of Culture” network at the European level, as well as for its future enrichment with new routes. In this way, art is directly linked to the protection and promotion of the island’s cultural heritage and natural wealth.

The exhibition features artists with different means of expression and personal pursuits, but who all have Patmos as their common ground: Christos Vougiouklis, Giorgos Gambierakis, Iliada Gampieraki, Zoe Gampieraki, Georges Dewispelaere, Sabrina Fritsche, George Kavouras, Andreas Kalatzis, Monika Kochs, Maria Koubourli, Rania Kodona, Catherine Lambermont, Villy Margariti, Despoina Melianou, Pavlos Nastas, Eleni Oikonomidou, Denia Panagaki, Christina Papoulia, Yannis Pappas, Maria Pente, Manolis Pentes, Maria Pesmazoglou, Carolyn Scales, and Zavos Fandos.

The coexistence of these creators—both Patmian and foreign—reflects the intercultural character of Patmos, a place that has always inspired and welcomed artists from all over the world. The exhibition aims to highlight this dynamic, inviting the public to explore the works and discover the variety and richness of artistic approaches.
Beyond the aesthetic experience, each visit to the exhibition also contributes to the preservation and promotion of a project of broader cultural significance. In this way, visitors become part of a chain that links art with the protection of Patmos’ cultural and natural heritage.

The exhibition will run from August 27 to September 5 and will be open daily from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., with the opening ceremony taking place on August 27.
