Patmos supports the work of Make-A-Wish Greece

Informational event hosted by the Pamos Women’s Association “Spitha”

The Patmos Women’s Association “Spitha”, inviting the public to an informational talk on the work of Make-A-Wish Greece.

The event will take place on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., at the Patmion Cultural Center, with free admission for the public. The goal of the initiative is to introduce residents and visitors to the island to the valuable work the organization has been doing for years, bringing strength, smiles, and optimism to children facing serious illnesses.

Make-A-Wish Greece is a member of the international organization Make-A-Wish International and has been active in our country since 1996. Over nearly three decades of continuous operation, it has fulfilled thousands of wishes for children aged 3 to 18, offering them moments of joy and emotional strength during particularly difficult times in their lives.

These wishes are not merely a heartwarming experience. According to the organization, they serve as a valuable source of support for both the children themselves and their families, boosting their morale and strengthening their faith in the daily struggle they face. Hundreds of volunteers, supporters, and donors across Greece help make every child’s wish come true.

The “Spitha” initiative serves as a reminder of the importance of social contribution and collective participation. At a time when the need for solidarity is greater than ever, Patmos sends its own message of humanity by supporting a project that brings hope where it is truly needed.
