Café Vagia or “Eftihia”, as it was perhaps better known, was for many years a common “secret” and meeting place for the “initiates” of Patmos. And it was never quite clear whether the real attraction was the location, the good coffee and the homemade pastries and snacks or the “mummy” owner of the café, Eftihia herself!

As you can understand, the bar was already set very high for Theologos and Argiro when they agreed to take over the business this year when our Eftihia decided it was time to rest. Of course, both Theologos and Argiro are already known and not by chance, they have already managed to be among the top culinary choices on the island, with their other “child”, Votris!

So today, you will find in Café Vagia all those good elements that put it in our heart, such as simplicity, hospitality, intimacy and of course the flavors! Everything we loved is still made with passion and with the same recipes! The delicious omelettes, the tasty salads, the handmade pies and pastries – if you are a fan, don’t neglect to try the chocolate cake, with or without ice cream. In addition, the list has been enriched with some light dishes, offering an even more complete choice for all times of the day.

Finally, the small garden on the lower level was also upgraded, offering a little more space and more shade, with even more of a sense of “relaxation”! So the bet seems to have been won, and all that is needed from you is to indulge in the flavours and allow the serenity of the landscape to take over!
